Greer Cabaret Theater

Greer Cabaret Theater is a performing arts venue in Pittsburgh's Cultural District, operated by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Alongside its year-round programme of music, theatre and other performances, it makes its spaces available to organisers planning their own events.

The main theatre includes an auditorium, stage and dressing rooms, with a flexible cabaret-style seating layout. Its listed capacity is up to 198 guests, depending on the staging and room arrangement. The adjoining lounge offers a smaller setting for receptions, workshops and gatherings, with capacity for up to 74 people. Both spaces can be considered for meetings, conferences, rehearsals, performances and private receptions.

The venue provides lighting, sound and video equipment as part of its rental facilities. Organisers can ask the management team about technical requirements and event arrangements. For functions at the theatre, food and drink are provided by the venue's exclusive catering provider, with options arranged to suit the event. Front-of-house staffing and ticketing services are also available for performances, subject to the venue's rental terms.

Set at 655 Penn Avenue, the theatre sits within Theater Square, close to other Cultural District venues. A parking garage is in the same building, making access straightforward for guests arriving by car. With its stage, audience seating, technical facilities and neighbouring lounge, Greer Cabaret Theater is suited to organisers seeking an intimate indoor location for a show, business gathering or reception in downtown Pittsburgh.
