Kuckucks-Nest

Mettinger Straße 60, 49492 Westerkappeln, Germany

Das Kuckucks-Nest is an event venue in Westerkappeln for private celebrations and events organised by businesses and clubs. The venue combines the character of a historic half-timbered house with rooms that can be used for different group sizes and occasions. The large hall can host up to 120 guests. Wooden flooring, an antique wooden ceiling and adaptable lighting create a festive setting for weddings, birthdays and club celebrations. For smaller groups, there is a separate room for up to 40 people, which can also serve as a buffet area at larger events.

The outdoor area includes a beer garden and a green space with views of the surrounding area. These can be used for an outdoor reception, a summer celebration or as a place to retreat to during the event. Organisers have plenty of freedom when it comes to decoration and can arrange the rooms to suit their own concept. Table linen, napkins and chair covers are available on request.

For smaller family celebrations, corporate events and club occasions, the in-house kitchen team can prepare food. For larger private celebrations such as weddings, you can also choose your own external caterer. Crockery and cutlery can be provided. The venue also offers drinks and coffee, as well as cakes and gateaux from its own bakery. Event enquiries can be discussed directly with the venue, so that the room layout, catering and any other requests suit the occasion.
