The Main House Events

The Main House Events is a family-run venue in downtown Fairborn, Ohio, offering a historic setting for weddings, receptions, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. The restored 19th-century house retains original woodwork and Victorian architectural details, while its flexible interior provides more than 1,800 square feet for events of different styles and sizes. The venue can accommodate gatherings of around 100 guests.

Organisers can hire the space for wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday parties, showers, reunions, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, memorial gatherings, meetings and networking events. Its dedicated wedding offering also includes themed pop-up wedding experiences on selected dates, with ceremony space and event coordination included in those packages.

The venue provides tables as part of the hire, with additional tables available on request, and includes time for setting up and clearing away within the booked hours. A preparation kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer is available for organisers and their caterers, although food must be prepared off site. The venue welcomes outside suppliers under its vendor policy and can share a list of preferred vendors.

Located close to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University and Dayton, The Main House offers on-site parking as well as nearby public parking. Its owners offer personal assistance to clients planning their gatherings, and tours can be arranged to help organisers see the rooms and discuss the practical details of a booking.
