Cloisters Bolton

Cloisters Bolton is an event venue in a converted church, combining original architectural details with flexible spaces for celebrations and business events. Stained-glass windows, stone walls and vaulted ceilings give the main Cloisters Suite a distinctive setting, while its lounge and private bar provide space for guests to gather before or after the main event. The suite can accommodate up to 280 guests, making it suitable for larger weddings, receptions and conferences.

The venue also offers the Ashton Suite, a contemporary private space with its own bar and lounge, and the Churchill Hardie Suite for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Couples can enquire about civil ceremonies, wedding receptions and celebrations shaped around different cultural and religious traditions. Wedding packages and room-hire options are available, with a dedicated coordinator to help plan the occasion. Depending on the arrangement, organisers can choose venue hire or packages that bring together elements such as food, drinks, room dressing and event support. External caterers may also be accommodated under the venue's stated arrangements.

For companies and organisations, Cloisters provides adaptable spaces for meetings, training, exhibitions and conferences. Organisers can book a room on its own or enquire about delegate packages, which can include refreshments, lunch, Wi-Fi and parking. Smaller meeting rooms are also available. The venue welcomes private parties and other celebrations, including funeral receptions and proms, and its city-centre position offers convenient access to Bolton's transport links. Next to the Holiday Inn Bolton Centre, it can also suit events where guests need nearby overnight accommodation.
