Heartwood Acres

Set on 15 acres near Lake Oconee, Heartwood Acres offers a countryside setting for weddings, private celebrations and selected corporate events. The venue combines a modern, two-storey barn with open-air spaces, giving event planners options for ceremonies, receptions, dinners and social gatherings in one location.

The barn provides around 4,000 square feet of climate-controlled space, with a catering preparation kitchen and an outdoor patio for guests to gather. Outside, a large lawn can be used for ceremonies or receptions, while courtyard areas with bistro lighting create a welcoming setting for drinks and conversation. Indoor space is also available as a weather contingency, so organisers can plan for changing conditions. The venue has a private bridal suite with a bathroom and a separate groom's lounge, along with on-site parking and staff available during events.

Bookings range from shorter venue hire to full-day and multi-day packages. Depending on the package, tables and chairs, an arbor, a photo booth and selected equipment may be included or available to add. Some bookings also include set-up and breakdown of tables and chairs. Couples can arrange a rehearsal appointment, and organisers are welcome to bring their own suppliers. Optional in-house coordination and planning services are available through a partnered event coordinator, but clients are not required to use them.

Alongside weddings, the venue welcomes celebrations, family reunions, workshops, retreats and corporate gatherings. Located in Eatonton, it is within driving distance of Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Milledgeville and Macon. Private tours are available by appointment, giving planners a chance to explore the spaces and discuss the needs of their event.
