Gemeentehallen

Brandweerstraat 32, 9820 Merelbeke, Belgium

De Gemeentehallen in Merelbeke is a covered, multi-purpose venue that organisers can hire for their own event. With a total area of 2,485 m², the hall offers space for a wide range of gatherings and activities. You can book the venue in different sizes: two bays totalling 1,100 m², three bays totalling 1,600 m², or the entire hall. This lets you choose an area that suits the size and format of your event.

The municipal hire service is aimed at organisers looking for a large, covered space. On the official venue page, you can find the rates for different types of users, including associations, schools and commercial institutions. There is also information about the costs for set-up and dismantling days. Water, gas and electricity are usually not included in the hire price, so factor these costs into your preparations.

You can use the digital portal to make a booking. The available documents include a floor plan with measurements, an evacuation plan, and information about loads and stability. These plans can help with the practical preparations and layout of your event. The venue is located at Brandweerstraat 32. You can reach the car park by car via Poelstraat, while Brandweerstraat is the route to use when leaving the site. For questions about hire and availability, the municipal Events department is the right point of contact. This allows organisers to enquire in advance about bookings and the practical conditions for their event.
