The Urban Grove

The Urban Grove is a distinctive event space in Tucson, set on a historic property surrounded by citrus trees, date palms and gardens. Its origins as a citrus grove give the setting a strong sense of place, while the grounds and established trees provide a naturally photogenic backdrop for gatherings and creative projects.

Organisers can consider the property for weddings, receptions, private celebrations, community events and other occasions that suit a relaxed, garden setting. Indoor and outdoor areas offer different ways to shape a gathering, from a ceremony among the trees to a meal or celebration beneath the open sky. The grounds also lend themselves to photography and film shoots, as well as cooking or art classes.

The venue's appeal lies in its combination of historic character and outdoor surroundings. Citrus blossoms, mature palms and landscaped areas bring seasonal colour and texture, while the historic estate creates a warmer alternative to a standard function room. The property has featured in weddings and other local gatherings, and organisers have been able to work with outside suppliers such as caterers, florists and DJs.

Alongside its event use, The Urban Grove remains a working property, with seasonal citrus and date harvests and hands-on cooking activities connected to its food and agricultural history. This setting may suit planners looking for a venue with a close connection to Tucson's landscape and local heritage.
