The Pavilion

Set beside the sands of Viking Bay, The Pavilion offers event organisers a seafront setting for weddings, private celebrations and business gatherings. The venue’s Conservatory and Main Hall are available for private hire, with spaces suited to different group sizes and event styles. The Conservatory can seat up to 30 guests, while the Main Hall accommodates up to 150 seated or 300 standing. The team can discuss room arrangements and suitable menus when planning a booking.

The Pavilion welcomes a varied programme of occasions, including wedding celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, work offsites, networking events, charity gatherings and wakes. Wedding enquiries have a dedicated booking route, and the venue is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Its location overlooking the bay gives receptions and gatherings a distinctive coastal backdrop, with direct access to the beach and a veranda looking across the water.

Food and drink are part of the venue's offering, with buffet and set-menu options available for private functions. The Pavilion also hosts seasonal celebrations and music events, and organisers can enquire about the spaces, menus and arrangements for their own event. An events lead works with clients from the initial visit through to the occasion itself, helping tailor the setup and coordinate practical details.

The venue has wheelchair-accessible entrances, free Wi-Fi and food service. With its choice of function spaces, event support and seafront position in Broadstairs, The Pavilion can suit both informal gatherings and larger celebrations. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, guest numbers and a suitable format for their event.
