Off Center Stage

Off Center Stage is an intimate black box theatre in Grass Valley, California, available to hire for performances, workshops and other events. Its separate performance room gives organisers a dedicated setting for an audience, while the adjoining lobby and bar provide space for arrivals, intervals and informal gatherings. A green room is also part of the facility, giving performers and speakers a place to prepare before taking the stage.

The flexible theatre format can suit a range of hosted occasions, from live performances and arts programmes to presentations, classes and workshops. Organisers can enquire about hiring the space through The Center for the Arts, which manages the venue and can provide information about availability, rental arrangements and event support. The Center's published rental information lists the Off Center space, its green room and lounge, and options for technical and front-of-house staffing. This can help planners consider practical requirements alongside the room booking, such as sound, lighting, audiovisual support, setup and ticketing. The venue's distinct performance-room, lobby and backstage facilities make it a useful option for planners seeking a smaller theatre environment rather than a conventional meeting room or large auditorium. Contact the operating organisation directly to discuss the event format, dates and requirements.
