On the outskirts of Riesa, near the Elbe and the Elbe Cycle Route, Projekte- & Erlebnisgut Göhlis is situated on the grounds of a former state farm. The listed estate, with several buildings and adjoining outdoor areas, offers a distinctive rural setting for gatherings and events. The site is used for celebrations and events, among other things, making it suitable for event planners looking for a venue with historic character and plenty of outdoor space.

The estate has a camping meadow that is open during the season from March to the end of October. It caters to cyclists, youth groups, water tourists and nature lovers, and according to the operator is also suitable for larger groups and private events. The meadow has twelve pitches with electricity connections, as well as shower and toilet facilities in sanitary containers. There is also a washing-up area. Its location near the Elbe Cycle Route makes the site appealing to guests who want to combine an event with time outdoors or overnight accommodation.

Projekte- & Erlebnisgut Göhlis is also a venue for projects for children and young people, holiday and leisure activities, and cultural and community events. A flock of sheep is also kept on the grounds, and breeding them is part of the estate's regional tradition. Event planners can ask the operator which areas are available for their occasion and what conditions apply to their intended use.
