Eskmills Events Ltd

The Venue at Eskmills offers a characterful setting for weddings, private celebrations and business events in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh. Set within a restored Victorian mill, the venue combines a bright, high-ceilinged main room with an outdoor garden ceremony area and a stone courtyard. Organisers can hire the whole venue for weddings, creating space for a ceremony, reception and evening celebration in one location.

The main mill room suits both intimate gatherings and larger occasions, while the Eden Garden provides an outdoor option for ceremonies when conditions allow. The courtyard gives guests a place to gather between parts of an event, and a private retreat room is available for wedding preparations. The venue also hosts corporate functions, including meetings, conferences, networking events, awards dinners, exhibitions, away-days and staff parties. Its business-event facilities include Wi-Fi, audiovisual equipment and lighting, with capacity for up to 350 guests.

Food is provided through partner caterers, with choices ranging from working lunches to seated dinners. A licensed bar and drinks packages are also available. The site has on-site parking, electric vehicle charging and accessible, single-level facilities, and is within easy reach of Edinburgh by road and rail.

The venue's operator has announced that The Venue will close at the end of 2026. It is scheduled to operate normally until then, with wedding bookings currently accepted only through November 2026. Organisers should contact the venue directly to confirm availability and arrangements for their event date.
