Sid Cutter Pilots' Pavilion

Sid Cutter Pilots' Pavilion is a large, flexible event venue at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, available to organisers planning gatherings that need substantial indoor space. The pavilion can be hired as one 12,000-square-foot facility or divided into two separate areas of 8,000 and 4,000 square feet. The City of Albuquerque lists seated capacities of up to 560 guests for the full space, with smaller capacities for the divided rooms.

The venue suits a range of occasions, including corporate functions, receptions, banquets, community gatherings and other group events. Tables and chairs are included with a rental, and an eight-by-four-foot stage is also provided. Organisers can arrange catering, although the pavilion does not have additional kitchen or food-preparation facilities. An audiovisual system with a projector, screen, microphones and sound is available for an extra charge.

An adjoining field panel can also be hired for outdoor activities, picnics or wedding ceremonies, subject to availability and an additional fee. The pavilion is part of Balloon Fiesta Park, where there is extensive parking and other event facilities nearby. Rentals are generally offered from November through August, with the site closed to facility hires during September and October. Applications are accepted three to twelve months before an event, and peak-season dates can book well ahead. Organisers submit requests through the City's online rental system and can contact the rental office to ask about availability or arrange a visit.
