Slijterij en Feesterij De Smid

Feesterij De Smid in Wellerlooi offers a venue for a wide range of gatherings, from weddings and birthdays to anniversaries, staff parties, meetings and coffee receptions. The venue consists of two separate areas that can be used individually or together. The café at the front is around 65 m² and can accommodate groups of up to around 50 people. The room at the back is around 100 m² and is suitable for gatherings of up to around 100 people. In fine weather, this room can be combined with the terrace, which has space for around 40 more guests. Using both areas together provides space for groups of up to around 150 people.

The layout can be tailored to suit the occasion. De Smid discusses with organisers how the rooms should be arranged and decorated so they suit the type of gathering and the number of guests. For those who would rather celebrate at their own venue, the business also caters for events at other locations. Drinks, draught beer equipment, fridges, furniture, glassware and cups are among the items available. Tents, a barbecue or a buffet can also be arranged in partnership with regional suppliers. De Smid can advise on what's needed, put together a bespoke proposal, and deliver the equipment and collect it again afterwards. Organisers can therefore choose between hosting a gathering at Feesterij De Smid or getting support with an event at a venue of their choice.
