Blue Sage Barn at Prairiewood

Blue Sage Barn at Prairiewood is a renovated equestrian barn available for weddings, receptions, meetings and other gatherings near Manhattan, Kansas. Set among native prairie, the venue combines the character of a rural barn with practical facilities for hosting guests and running an event.

The barn can accommodate up to 175 people, with seating layouts arranged to suit the occasion. Organisers can use the wraparound covered veranda and the neighbouring Meadow for extra gathering space, photographs or parts of a wedding celebration. The setting also includes a private park with a firepit and swing. Inside, adjustable lighting, a sound system, wireless microphone, high-speed Wi-Fi, a large-format projection system and a large-screen television support presentations, speeches and entertainment.

Table and chair arrangements, including set-up, are available, and the flexible interior can be decorated to suit an event. A professional kitchen with ovens, warming shelves and refrigeration is provided for event food preparation. Blue Sage Bar offers bar service, while the on-site gallery adds a small local-art and gift-shopping feature for guests.

Couples can book the barn for ceremonies and receptions, with use of the adjacent Meadow included as an option for gatherings or photographs. Beyond weddings, the space is presented for corporate meetings, retreats, reunions, banquets and other group occasions. The barn is part of Prairiewood, a larger rural property with accommodation at nearby properties, offering organisers the possibility of pairing an event with an overnight stay.
