Lokschuppen Nidda is an event venue available to hire in a former railway depot. The building's historic industrial character shapes the atmosphere and provides a distinctive setting for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events. Three areas are available for different types of event. Steamhall is the spacious hall for larger celebrations and shared programme activities. Level One is on a mezzanine level and has its own bar and a small stage. Bistro can be used as a cosy lounge, buffet room or quiet retreat. An adjacent beer garden complements the indoor spaces, for example for a reception or an informal gathering. Depending on the occasion, the areas can be hired individually or in combination.

Event technology, including music and lighting systems, is available in all three areas. For weddings, Lokschuppen offers support from the initial viewing and advice through to a personalised proposal. Couples can arrange the spaces for their ceremony, meal and reception, and create their own decorations. The team can recommend suitable partners for catering, decorations and other services, while leaving couples free to choose.

The facilities can also be adapted to suit the schedule of corporate events, for example for presentations, celebrations or outdoor gatherings. The venue is right next to Nidda station, and parking is also available. Steamhall is accessible at ground level, while Bistro and the mezzanine have different access arrangements. Details of the room layout, capacity and schedule are agreed individually with the team.
