Poogan's Courtyard

Poogan's Courtyard is a private event venue in Charleston's historic French Quarter, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, showers, birthdays, family reunions and corporate gatherings. Its combination of indoor dining space and an open-air courtyard gives organisers room to shape events around different styles and occasions.

The venue can host up to 80 guests for a seated event, 125 for a standing reception and 50 for a ceremony. Its historic brick surroundings and courtyard lighting create a warm backdrop, while tables, chairs, linens, tableware, Wi-Fi and built-in sound facilities are among the practical provisions available. Organisers can also use the venue's event diagramming and seating tools to plan the layout.

Food and drink are part of the offering. An on-site culinary team prepares menus drawing on Lowcountry and Southern cooking, and the venue has an on-site bar with drink packages or a cash bar option. Event staff and a dedicated event lead are available to support service and planning, from the initial enquiry through the occasion itself.

The venue welcomes organisers to personalise the space with their own flowers, centrepieces, entertainment, signage and other finishing details. Located close to Charleston hotels, shops and local landmarks, Poogan's Courtyard is suited to hosts looking for a centrally located venue with food, drinks and event support in one place. Tours and tailored quotes can be arranged with the sales team.
