Koelwaterhal

IJsselcentraleweg 30, 8015 PA Zwolle, Netherlands

Koelwaterhal is a distinctive event venue in Zwolle, located in the former IJsselcentrale on the IJssel. The building's industrial history is still clearly visible in the tall hall, robust structures and deep underground water basements. This combination gives events a strong character and makes the venue suitable for organisers looking for something different from a standard function room.

The hall can be used for a wide range of business events, including company meetings, trade fairs, gala dinners and workshops. The space can be arranged flexibly and accommodates groups of around 25 to 1,000 guests. This allows organisers to tailor the layout and atmosphere to the programme, whether it is a small session or a larger gathering.

Professional catering is available for events, from an extensive dinner to snacks for a reception. The team can also provide support with practical elements such as setting up and bringing the event to a close. Organisers can discuss the options and share their requirements for the day.

As well as hosting events, Koelwaterhal has a cultural function. The venue hosts changing exhibitions, talks, workshops and other cultural activities. The combination of art, industrial heritage and a waterside location gives events a distinctive setting. The public exhibitions are seasonal, but organisers can contact the venue directly to ask about availability and options for their own event.
