Lodge on the Green

Lodge on the Green is a banquet venue on the grounds of Shawnee Golf Club in Sanborn, New York. Organisers can enquire about private events for up to 100 guests, with capacity depending on the chosen room and layout. The venue welcomes celebrations and gatherings including weddings, showers, birthdays, retirement parties, holiday parties, meetings and corporate events.

Event hosts can choose an indoor setting, an outdoor arrangement or a combination of both. The banquet room features sunflower decor, while the four-seasons room looks out across the golf course. Bar seating and a two-sided fireplace offer another cosy spot for guests to gather. The management team can work with organisers to adjust the dining room's appearance to suit their event decor.

The venue is also a restaurant and tavern, and banquet menus are available for event enquiries. Its setting beside the golf course makes it a practical option for golf banquets and tournament gatherings as well as family celebrations and business functions. Organisers can contact the team to discuss dates, room arrangements and menu options, or submit an enquiry through the website.

For larger events, Lodge on the Green points organisers towards its sister business, Wurlitzer Events, which has a separate venue in the historic Wurlitzer Building. This Sanborn location is best suited to planners looking for a welcoming, country-style space for a private celebration, wedding gathering or smaller corporate function.
