Proffitt Farm

Proffitt Farm is a wedding and event venue in Gray, Tennessee, set among the rolling hills of east Tennessee. Its historic barn and restored milk house provide a distinctive setting for ceremonies and receptions, with outdoor spaces that look out across the surrounding countryside. Couples can choose from several ceremony locations, including four arbors, and move the celebration indoors to the barn for dining, dancing and time with guests.

The venue can host gatherings of around 50 to 200 people. Bookings are exclusive for the day, giving organisers use of the property from 8am to 10pm without another event taking place alongside theirs. Tables and chairs are included, and the barn is climate controlled. Guests also have access to modern restrooms and ample parking, while a private bridal suite in the renovated milk house offers a comfortable place to get ready.

Proffitt Farm is especially suited to weddings, but its spaces are also offered for celebrations such as birthdays, graduations, baby showers, wedding showers and quinceañeras. The venue does not require clients to use a set list of vendors, so organisers can choose their own licensed and insured suppliers. Beer, wine and spirits are permitted subject to Tennessee regulations. Prospective clients can arrange an in-person or virtual tour to explore the barn, ceremony settings and facilities before planning their event.
