Scharwenka Kulturforum e.V.

Moorstraße 3, 15526 Bad Saarow, Germany

Scharwenka Kulturforum is a listed event venue in Bad Saarow, steeped in the cultural history of Lake Scharmützelsee. The historic wooden house was built in 1910/11 as the summer home of composer and pianist Xaver Scharwenka. Today, it combines cultural events with a musicians' museum and exhibition spaces.
For event planners, the main attraction is the flexible event space, which can accommodate up to 70 people. The venue is suited to smaller gatherings, seminars and celebrations where a historic setting and a personal atmosphere are important. The garden can also be used for events. Specific options and availability should be discussed with the operator in advance.
The programme includes classical concerts, talks, cabaret, chanson, lectures and film screenings, among other events. At the museum, visitors can learn more about the lives and work of brothers Xaver and Philipp Scharwenka. The offering is complemented by exhibitions on local history and a small gallery featuring works by regional artists. Guided tours can be arranged by prior appointment.
The Kulturforum is run by Scharwenka Kulturforum e.V. and is intended for organisers looking for a welcoming, characterful venue for cultural or social occasions. With its historic architecture, combination of museum and event space, and ongoing cultural programme, the venue offers a distinctive setting for gatherings in Bad Saarow.
