The Annex

The Annex is a flexible event and production venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, set inside a former foundry. Its industrial character, exposed brick, generous ceiling height and skylights give the space a distinctive backdrop, while contemporary facilities make it practical for a range of gatherings and shoots.

The venue offers a Main Hall and a Lounge, which can be booked separately or together. The 1,350-square-foot Main Hall accommodates up to 75 guests and suits larger private events, corporate gatherings and offsites. The 600-square-foot Lounge provides a more intimate setting for team meetings and dinners, with boardroom seating for up to 14. It can also host drinks receptions for up to 75 guests. Organisers can use the two areas together to welcome guests in the Lounge before moving into the Main Hall for dinner, dancing or a programme.

For business events, the spaces can be arranged in different seating styles. Available technology includes a built-in sound system, smart televisions, webcams, projectors and screens, supporting presentations and hybrid conversations. The venue also welcomes weddings, birthdays and other social celebrations, giving organisers room to shape the layout around their plans.

The Annex is also available for photography, television and film shoots, casting calls and related production work. The Main Hall's high ceilings and natural light provide useful shooting conditions, and the skylights can be blacked out when needed. Equipment access is supported by a first-floor entrance with double doors. The Lounge can serve as a green room or be used alongside the Main Hall.
