440 Elm

Set in downtown Long Beach's East Village Arts District, 440 Elm is a historic event venue for weddings, corporate functions and social celebrations. The building dates from 1913 and offers a distinctive architectural setting, with a large Grand Ballroom complemented by a private outdoor Plaza, a Parlor and welcoming foyer spaces.

Organisers can use the different rooms for ceremonies, receptions, dinners, award evenings, business gatherings and other occasions. The layout and event format can be shaped around the guest experience, from a smaller celebration in the Parlor to a large-scale event using both indoor and outdoor areas. Capacity depends on the spaces selected and the planned arrangement, with the venue accommodating events for groups of up to around 1,100 across the site.

Wedding teams can plan ceremonies and receptions in the ballroom or garden setting, with options for different cultural traditions and styles of celebration. The venue also welcomes corporate meetings, galas, brand events and private gatherings. Its own culinary team develops menus for each occasion, with service options ranging from passed appetisers and chef stations to buffet and seated dining. Bar service is also available.
