Court Street Livery

Court Street Livery is a restored 19th-century barn event venue in downtown Washington, Georgia, near the historic town square. Its open-plan main hall provides a distinctive setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, banquets, private parties, family celebrations, meetings and gallery events. The venue can host gatherings of up to 175 people, with an adjoining plaza offering scope to extend an event outdoors with a tent.

Inside, exposed heart pine rafters, posts and beams, brick walls, antique lighting and a high vaulted ceiling give the space its historic character. Large garage doors bring in natural light and connect the hall with the outdoor area. Variable lighting, central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, accessible facilities and free parking support events in different seasons and formats. The finished concrete floor is suitable for dancing, while the open layout can be arranged for seated functions, buffet service or auditorium-style gatherings.

Organisers have access to a catering kitchen with cooking, refrigeration, warming and washing facilities. Clients can choose their own caterer and bring their own beverages, giving them flexibility over suppliers and refreshments. The venue is also suited to corporate meetings, showcases and community gatherings, with local accommodation and event services available nearby. Located between Athens and Augusta and within driving distance of both, Court Street Livery offers a historic small-town setting for organisers seeking a flexible indoor venue with an adjacent outdoor option.
