Carlson Center

The Carlson Center is a multipurpose venue in Fairbanks, Alaska, offering event organisers a choice of private rooms and a large arena. Its spaces can accommodate a wide range of gatherings, from smaller meetings and celebrations to major public events, concerts, sporting fixtures and trade shows.

Several rooms are available to hire in different sizes. The Pioneer Room and North Star Room can be booked separately or combined as the Buswell Room, with the combined space suitable for events of up to 400 people depending on the layout. The Prow and Northern Lights Room provide further options for organisers seeking a smaller setting. Rental periods include hourly, half-day and full-day arrangements for many of the rooms.

For larger productions, the arena floor offers a substantial open space that can be configured for different event formats. Its scale makes the venue a practical choice for exhibitions, entertainment, sports and other productions that need room for large audiences or extensive event infrastructure. The facility is also home to the Alaska Nanooks men's ice hockey team and hosts community activities.

The Carlson Center's event team handles enquiries about room and arena rentals. Organisers can discuss availability, capacities and the setup needed for their event directly with the appropriate venue contact. With both flexible meeting and function rooms and a full-size arena under one roof, the centre serves organisers planning events of very different sizes in the Fairbanks area.
