Werkstatt* by Gasthaus Stromberg

Richtstrecke 5-9, 45731 Waltrop, Germany

Werkstatt* by Gasthaus Stromberg is an event venue on the historic site of Zeche Waltrop. Set in the rooms of a former electrical workshop and carpentry workshop, it offers event planners a venue with an industrial character, complemented by a separate Lounge and a modern, understated design. The venue is suitable for private celebrations as well as business events.
Weddings, family celebrations, corporate parties and Christmas parties can be held across around 300 square metres. Conferences and product presentations are also possible. Depending on the seating arrangement and schedule, seated meals can be arranged for around 80 to 160 people. Events with a flying buffet can accommodate around 80 to 250 people. The Lounge on a mezzanine level offers extra space to arrive, chat or take a relaxing break.
Gasthaus Stromberg also supports organisers with the culinary planning. Menus and schedules can be tailored to the occasion, making it possible to host a reception, a celebratory meal or a corporate event in the rooms of Werkstatt*. Smaller groups can also use a separate Küchenloft on the Zeche site, which accommodates up to 30 people and is suitable for team meetings, conferences, private events and cookery classes.
The venue therefore offers event planners a range of options, from a larger celebration in a historic industrial setting to an exclusive gathering for a smaller group. Werkstatt* is in Waltrop and can be booked through Gasthaus Stromberg.
