Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp

Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp offers a year-round setting for organisers planning retreats, meetings, group gatherings, educational programmes and multi-day camps near Shelton, Washington. Groups can hire the full site or select individual facilities, with options for different event sizes and budgets. The camp serves schools, businesses, churches, community groups and families.

The main lodge includes an open-plan gathering space with a fireplace, stage and piano, plus a boardroom suitable for meetings. A mezzanine looks out towards the surrounding grounds and private lake. For meals and group activities, the dining hall seats up to 220 people and connects to a commercial kitchen. A covered barbecue and picnic area provides another option for informal outdoor gatherings.

Overnight stays are supported by lodge rooms, dormitory accommodation and 21 open-air cabins. Together, the facilities can accommodate more than 300 overnight guests. The wider site includes an amphitheatre and fire pit, lakefront areas for swimming, fishing and boating, and trails for walking, cycling or group activities. Canoes and paddle boats are available to rent.

Organisers can also hire the livestock facility, which includes horse stalls and a fenced arena for equestrian events and other large-animal activities.
