Terrace Room

Terrace Room is a boutique event venue in the historic Waynesborough House in downtown Goldsboro, North Carolina. Its main hall and outdoor terrace offer a distinctive setting for gatherings of up to 100 guests, with the final capacity depending on the event layout. The venue is available by appointment, so organisers can arrange a tour and discuss their plans, rental rates and policies with the team.

The space is suited to a range of private, community and business occasions. Couples can host weddings and receptions, while other popular bookings include bridal and baby showers, birthday and anniversary parties, holiday celebrations, retirement events and family reunions. For business organisers, the room can host association meetings, formal lunches, presentations and product launches.

The building's historic character is part of the setting, with an art deco tiled floor, distinctive windows overlooking downtown and an outdoor terrace with views of the surrounding historic district. Practical facilities include a lounge, catering area and kitchen, mobile bar, microphone and speaker, accessible bathroom facilities, and serving, banquet and cocktail tables. Table and chair set-up and pack-down are provided, and a facility attendant is available on the event day. A bridal suite with sink access is also available, along with table-cover rental and carts for event materials.

Terrace Room is managed by Literacy Connections of Wayne County. Rental proceeds support the organisation's local literacy programmes, allowing event organisers to book a characterful downtown venue while contributing to community services.
