The Lighthouse Venue

The Lighthouse Venue is a large, flexible event space in Camberwell, South London, available to hire for private celebrations, weddings and business events. Set within a Grade II listed former cinema, the venue combines historic Art Deco character with modern facilities, making it suitable for occasions ranging from conferences and training sessions to banquets, themed parties and live shows.

The main hall can accommodate up to 1,200 guests in cinema-style seating or standing, with banquet seating for up to 500. The venue also offers smaller spaces for more focused gatherings, such as meetings, seminars and celebratory dinners. Organisers can discuss their event requirements with the venue team and explore tailored arrangements for the occasion.

Facilities include an audio-visual system and free Wi-Fi. The venue advertises parking for up to 65 cars and provides access to a dedicated event manager to support planning and delivery. The team works with organisers on events of different sizes, including conferences, weddings, banqueting, corporate parties, training and community functions.

With daytime and evening availability throughout the year, The Lighthouse Venue offers event planners a distinctive setting with space for large guest numbers as well as smaller functions. Enquiries can be made directly to discuss the proposed date, guest count, budget and event format.
