Barockschloss Störmthal GmbH

Rosengang 3, 04463 Großpösna, Germany

Barockschloss Störmthal hires out historic rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, birthdays, family celebrations, events and exhibitions. The castle, dating from 1693, is situated on Lake Störmthal in Leipzig's New Lakeland and combines Baroque architecture with an extensive parkland setting. Its location near Leipzig provides a special backdrop for celebrations and events with guests from the region.
Organisers can enquire about hiring the castle and outdoor areas for their celebration, and tailor the offer to suit the occasion and group size. There are specific options for weddings, in particular: celebrations can be held on a smaller scale or with up to 150 participants. The historic halls and outdoor areas are available for wedding ceremonies and celebrations. A virtual tour gives visitors an idea of the rooms and grounds in advance.
The arrangements are flexible. Organisers can arrange catering, drinks, music and decorations themselves, or add service providers through an introduction if needed. Catering and technical services can also be requested. The venue is therefore suited to couples and event planners looking for a distinctive setting while wanting to decide for themselves on the schedule and facilities. Anyone interested can arrange a direct appointment with the castle team to view the venue and discuss their event.
