The Isom Place

The Isom Place is a historic Oxford, Mississippi property available to event planners seeking a distinctive setting for weddings and other gatherings. The pre-Civil War home combines period character with flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, just steps from downtown Oxford. Couples can use the property for a ceremony and reception, or host a rehearsal dinner, with a private courtyard and front lawn adding outdoor options.

The venue also welcomes a wide range of non-wedding events. Its spaces suit graduation celebrations, bridal and baby showers, corporate lunches, business retreats, workshops, dinner parties, non-profit functions, banquets and holiday gatherings. Depending on the arrangement, the house can accommodate up to 99 guests indoors, while outdoor events can host up to 200.

The rental includes access to the venue's interior rooms and grounds. Selected tables and white chairs are available, and venue staff are on site during events. Organisers can choose their own licensed and insured suppliers, with recommendations available for local caterers, photographers, florists and entertainment providers. The venue does not take the place of an event coordinator, so planners should arrange their own coordination support where needed.

Five bedrooms and six bathrooms make the property useful for wedding parties and guests who want to stay on site. The house also offers accommodation independently of event bookings. With its historic setting, courtyard and convenient position near Oxford's Square, The Isom Place offers a memorable backdrop for both private celebrations and organised functions.
