Events at Willow Hill

Events at Willow Hill is a private estate wedding venue in Brooklyn, Connecticut, where couples can celebrate across an entire weekend rather than in a single booked room. The 100-acre property is reserved exclusively for one wedding at a time, giving couples and their guests space to gather, stay and celebrate without sharing the grounds with another event.

The estate offers several settings for different parts of the occasion. Couples can choose from meadow and forest garden ceremonies, a hilltop deck, a tiered patio and a post-and-beam barn for indoor gatherings. The meadow can accommodate a tent, while the barn provides an indoor reception option for up to 110 guests. Overall capacity is up to 225 outdoors. A restored 1790s farmhouse and barn provide on-site accommodation for up to 22 guests, with multiple dressing suites available around the property.

The weekend format can include a welcome gathering, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception, followed by a relaxed farewell. The venue's package includes exclusive estate use, breakfast and lunch prepared by a private chef on the wedding day, and access to the event spaces. Couples choose their own caterer, florist, rental suppliers and other vendors, while a wedding planner is required before and during the celebration. Willow Hill does not provide its own full-service catering.

The venue welcomes both intimate celebrations and larger weddings, with custom proposals available for gatherings of 50 guests or fewer. Set in the rolling hills of north-eastern Connecticut, it offers couples a secluded setting while remaining within reach of Boston, Hartford and Providence. Tours are arranged by appointment.
