Astoria

Astoria is a flexible community venue in downtown Minneapolis, Kansas, available to hire for private celebrations, weddings, meetings, classes, music events and creative gatherings. Its open-plan indoor room offers around 800 square feet, with tables and chairs provided. Moveable dividers can help create a more intimate area for a meeting or workshop, or leave the space open for a larger gathering.

The room can be set up to suit different occasions. For parties and music events, black lights and a disco ball add a playful atmosphere, while daylight-style lighting makes the space suitable for meetings and classes. There is also an outdoor patio of about 1,000 square feet, offering additional room for guests, seating or activities.

Organisers can hire Astoria by the hour, with a deposit required. Special pricing may be available for community events, so it is worth asking about the arrangements for your booking. The venue's adaptable layout makes it a practical option for local organisers looking for a modest, welcoming space rather than a large function hall.

Alongside private bookings, Astoria supports arts and community activity, including markets, workshops and live music. This creative setting offers organisers a place to bring people together for a celebration, class, meeting or small public event. Contact the venue to discuss the planned use, layout and availability.
