Country Lane Lodge

Country Lane Lodge is a wedding and event venue in Adel, Iowa, around 20 minutes west of Des Moines. Set on 40 acres of tree-lined grounds, it offers couples and event planners a secluded setting with indoor and outdoor spaces for celebrations and gatherings. The venue can accommodate up to 360 guests, and weddings are held exclusively, with the whole property reserved for one couple for the day.

Ceremonies can take place outdoors or inside by the fireplace, with an indoor back-up option if the weather changes. The grounds include a patio, fire pit, bridges, swings and landscaped areas that provide places for guests to gather and photographs to be taken. Inside, the lodge features a spacious reception room, chandeliers, a loft, a live-edge bar and a full catering kitchen. Get-ready rooms are available for wedding parties, and the building is on one level with wheelchair access.

The venue also welcomes corporate events, business meetings, company outings, fundraisers and other celebrations. Flexible table layouts and breakout spaces support meetings, while the lodge provides Wi-Fi, a PA and audiovisual system, and an on-site bar. Organisers can choose their own licensed caterer, and the venue offers custom beverage plans with bar staff. Tables, chairs and selected décor are included, with set-up and take-down support.

For weddings, the team provides an online planning tool, helps create a custom floor plan and timeline, and offers on-the-day event coordination. The venue is open year-round, with heating and cooling, lighted parking and clear rental information available. Country Lane Lodge is suited to organisers looking for a countryside setting with practical facilities and support for planning the day.
