Lilian Baylis Studio

Lilian Baylis Studio is a theatre space at Sadler's Wells in London, available to hire for performances, conferences, award ceremonies and other organised events. Its theatrical setting and adaptable layout make it suitable for occasions that need a stage, audience seating or a more open room arrangement.

The studio seats up to 180 people in theatre style. Its retractable raked seating can be moved aside to create space for standing receptions or alternative layouts. The venue's published capacities also include up to 100 guests in cabaret style, 40 in boardroom or dining layouts, and 200 standing. Organisers should confirm the arrangement and capacity for their event with the venue team.

Three dressing rooms support performers and speakers, while the studio is managed by an experienced technical team. Sadler's Wells provides event facilities and technical support suited to productions and presentations. Catering is available through the venue's in-house team, with options ranging from breakfast and sandwiches to buffets, bowl food and canapés. The nearby Fox Garden Court Café can also be used for drinks on arrival or a reception.

Located on Rosebery Avenue, the studio is part of the Sadler's Wells theatre complex in the Angel area. Event organisers can enquire directly with the events team about hiring the space, its technical provision, catering and the layout that best fits their plans.
