Berghof Riesen, Simone und Thomas Schindele GbR

Alpweg 20, 87549 Rettenberg, Germany

Berghof Riesen is an event venue in Rettenberg-Kranzegg, in a peaceful mountain setting on the Grünten. Event planners can book the estate for private celebrations and business occasions. These include birthdays, summer parties, Christmas parties and corporate events. Several rooms are available for seminars, workshops, offsite meetings and coaching sessions, including the Grünten-Suite, the Altholz-Tenne and the Berghof-Lounge. Daylight, views of the Allgäu countryside and the available technical equipment provide a suitable setting for working together.

Weddings are a particular speciality. The venue is reserved exclusively for the wedding weekend. In good weather, the meadow can be used for a non-religious ceremony, and there is also a small chapel on the property. The Altholz-Tenne can host celebrations for up to 100 people, while the Berghof-Lounge is suitable for smaller parties of up to 50 guests. Outside, a beer garden, outdoor bar and lounge areas complement the indoor spaces.

There are ten individually designed rooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as an additional chalet that can be booked. Breakfast is provided for overnight guests. The team can prepare a reception, drinks, light meals and snacks. An external caterer is hired for the evening meal at weddings, and Berghof lists a partner on its website. Visits to the venue can also be arranged by appointment. This makes it possible to clarify in advance which rooms and outdoor areas are best suited to the occasion, number of guests and planned schedule.
