Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts

Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts is a theatre and event venue in downtown Owosso, Michigan. Its main auditorium has 500 seats, a fixed stage and the facilities to welcome audiences for performances and other gatherings. The centre also offers studio space, giving event planners an additional option for smaller-scale uses. Theatre and studio rentals are part of its offering, so organisers can enquire about using the spaces for their own productions or events.

The venue is also home to a year-round programme of live performing arts. Its community theatre company produces musicals and plays, and the centre hosts visiting performers to broaden the range of shows presented locally. These activities give organisers a working theatre environment with a strong connection to the performing arts, rather than a blank-canvas function hall. The building has a history dating back to the 1920s and reopened in 2014 following extensive rebuilding. Its historic character sits alongside modern theatre facilities.

The venue provides accessible seating and accessible toilets, and public parking is available in nearby city lots. A separate studio theatre at a nearby address complements the main auditorium. Event planners considering a performance, presentation or other gathering can contact the centre to discuss theatre or studio hire, availability and arrangements. With its established stage, audience seating and cultural programme, Lebowsky Center offers a distinctive setting for events in the Owosso area.
