The Oxford Yurt

Set in a three-acre meadow near Longcot, The Oxford Yurt offers a relaxed countryside setting for groups looking to celebrate or spend time together. The site has several private glamping areas, including traditional yurts and a contemporary dome, with separate indoor and outdoor spaces for socialising. Accommodation is arranged across the camps, with beds and bedding provided, and groups can book a stay suited to their size. The site can accommodate up to 30 overnight guests.

Hen weekends are a particular speciality, with packages that can include overnight accommodation, freshly prepared meals and a silent disco. The venue also welcomes other celebrations and offers options for company away days and team retreats. Organisers can add activities such as yoga, creative workshops, drumming, live music and outdoor games, subject to availability and the venue's booking arrangements.

Each camp has a sheltered communal area with a kitchen, alongside its own outdoor space. Guests can gather around a campfire, enjoy the meadow surroundings and make use of the shared shower and toilet facilities. The team provides on-site support during stays, and food is prepared using seasonal ingredients, with vegetarian and vegan choices available. The rural location is accessible by road from Oxford and Swindon, with private parking nearby. For event planners arranging a group celebration or an informal company gathering, The Oxford Yurt combines accommodation, gathering spaces and optional hospitality in one countryside setting.
