Saxony Farm

Saxony Farm is a family-run event venue set among the rolling countryside and horse paddocks of Kentucky's Bluegrass region, near Lexington. Its historic farm buildings and open grounds offer organisers several settings to shape an event, from a relaxed outdoor gathering to a large wedding reception.

The Large Polo Barn provides a characterful indoor space for up to 250 guests. Its high ceiling, original stalls and open layout make it suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, parties and other gatherings. The grounds also include an outdoor ceremony area beneath mature trees, with a marquee area available as an alternative when the weather calls for a firmer surface. The Small Polo Barn offers a more intimate option, seating up to 30 guests, with a well-equipped kitchen and a bar-lounge area for private dinners, bridal events, birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and small conferences.

For weddings, the farm has a cottage where the bridal party can prepare, plus a separate loft space for the groom and groomsmen. Organisers can make use of the venue's tables and chairs, with additional farmhouse tables and cross-back chairs available. Weekend hire allows time to prepare the spaces and host more than one part of a celebration. Parking is available on site, including space for larger guest numbers.

Saxony Farm also welcomes corporate gatherings, such as networking events, meetings and dinners. The team can discuss event requirements and prepare a tailored quote, with options for food and drink, flowers, decor, entertainment and audiovisual equipment. Its combination of indoor barns, outdoor areas and practical event facilities gives planners room to build an occasion around the setting and their guests.
