TAE on Talbot

TAE on Talbot is a privately owned event venue in Jacksonville's Avondale neighbourhood, available to hire when it is not being used by its associated ministry. Its characterful indoor space opens onto a garden area, giving organisers options for gatherings that combine indoor and outdoor entertaining.

The venue suits intimate celebrations and smaller business events. Occasions hosted here include bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and small wedding receptions, as well as birthdays, anniversaries, board dinners, business luncheons, appreciation events, retail showcases and art openings. Wedding ceremonies are not hosted at the venue.

The interior measures approximately 34 by 36 feet and can seat up to 72 guests at farmhouse tables. The hire includes six long farmhouse tables, French cross-back chairs and lounge furniture, which can be rearranged to suit the event. The outdoor garden has covered sails and string lighting. A small catering kitchen is available, and organisers can work with approved vendors or request approval for their own caterer.

For presentations and entertainment, the space has smart TVs, a sound system, a soundboard and wireless microphones. More involved AV use is supported by an in-house technician. A venue manager is present during events, and set-up and breakdown time is included in the rental. There are private parking spaces, including an accessible space, with nearby street parking and valet options also available. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Organisers can check date availability and submit a reservation request online, with tours arranged by appointment.
