Gallery5

Gallery5 is an arts and events venue in Richmond's Jackson Ward, set inside a former firehouse dating from the nineteenth century. Alongside its visual art exhibitions and live performances, the venue makes its historic space available for private hire, giving event planners a distinctive setting for gatherings and celebrations.

The venue offers the entire space for private events, with an open-air lounge and an art gallery that guests can enjoy during their booking. Gallery5 describes its space as suitable for wedding receptions, fundraisers, graduation parties and corporate meetings. Its historic character and artwork create a different atmosphere from a conventional function room, while the venue's flexible layout can accommodate a range of event formats.

Event arrangements can include tables and chairs, a gallery host and bar staff. The bar can also prepare a customised drink special for an occasion. Organisers can enquire about availability and pricing through the venue's private-event booking process. The building has a street-level entrance and is described as accessible, which can help planners consider guests' access needs.

Gallery5 is also an active home for exhibitions, music and performing arts. Its calendar and booking information make it relevant to organisers seeking a venue with an established creative identity, as well as to performers and community groups looking for a place to present their work. For private celebrations or professional gatherings, Gallery5 combines a historic setting, gallery environment and event facilities in central Richmond.
