Harvest Hall at Alstede Farms

Harvest Hall at Alstede Farms is a private event venue in Chester, New Jersey, set within a working farm. The rustic indoor space is available throughout the year and can host up to 120 guests. Heating and air conditioning make it suitable for gatherings in different seasons, while an attached tented patio and surrounding grassy space offer room for dancing, photographs and outdoor conversation when conditions allow.

The venue welcomes wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, family reunions, wedding rehearsals and corporate or business gatherings. Its wedding reception package includes tables, chairs, a private event attendant and private parking. The venue does not currently offer wedding ceremonies, so couples can use the space for their reception rather than the ceremony itself.

Organisers can choose a shorter booking or a longer hire, with time for setting up and clearing away. Tables and chairs are available for groups of up to 120, and private facilities and parking help keep the occasion together in one place. Alstede Farms also offers catering options, with menus suited to different kinds of gatherings. Organisers can discuss the event format and arrangements with the hospitality team when making an enquiry.

Farm activities can be added to create a more distinctive programme. Depending on the season and availability, options include hay wagon rides, pony rides, a campfire with s'mores, a bounce house, plant-potting activities and pick-your-own fruit outings. These extras can suit family celebrations and company gatherings as well as parties for children. The setting combines a private function space with rural scenery and access to selected farm experiences, giving event planners several ways to shape a gathering around their guests and occasion.
