The Pines Event Center

Set among pine and birch trees on 11 acres just outside Rhinelander, The Pines Event Center offers indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, family celebrations, corporate gatherings and community events. Its wooded setting gives organisers room to plan a ceremony or reception surrounded by nature, while the year-round building provides a comfortable option whatever the Wisconsin weather brings.

The main Tamarack Room can seat up to 230 guests and suits larger receptions, formal dinners, parties and meetings. For more intimate occasions, the Birch Room accommodates up to 50. Organisers can also consider the grounds and patio, with two outdoor ceremony areas framed by birch trees or towering pines. The building includes separate preparation suites, a caterer’s kitchen, audiovisual facilities and ample paved parking. Tables, chairs and table linens are provided, and an on-site facility coordinator is available during events.

Weddings are a key part of the venue’s offer, with dedicated packages that include exclusive use of the property, rehearsal time, ceremony options and access to the bridal and groom’s suites. The venue also welcomes graduation parties, reunions, baby showers, fundraisers, galas, company meetings and retreats. Room hire can be arranged for a single space or the whole venue, with event formats and guest numbers discussed with the team.

Organisers may choose from the venue’s recommended local suppliers or bring in their own licensed and insured caterer. Beverage packages, bar service and selected decorative items are available at additional cost. The venue’s website says it is not accepting wedding bookings after 20 March 2027, so couples should check availability directly.
