Social House Venue and Events

Social House Venue and Events is a family-run event venue in southwest Lubbock, offering rooms for weddings, celebrations and gatherings of different sizes. Organisers can choose between two indoor spaces: a larger ballroom suited to events with up to around 175 guests seated at round tables, and a more intimate room for groups of approximately 60. The venue also has a veranda adjoining the ballroom, providing an additional space for guests to gather.

The venue welcomes a broad range of occasions, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, birthdays, showers, graduations, reunions, proms and vendor fairs. Wedding packages include an extended booking period and can cover tables, chairs, linens, media equipment, set-up and clean-up. Bridal and groom's rooms are available, giving wedding parties space to prepare before the celebration.

For other occasions, rooms can be booked by the hour or for longer periods, depending on the event. Tables, chairs and black or white linens are provided, and a decorating period before the event is included. Available facilities include sound equipment, screens and projectors for presentations, speeches, music and videos. The smaller room has a fireplace and television, while the ballroom's veranda offers a relaxed outdoor area.

Organisers may arrange an insured outside caterer, or ask about the venue's on-site catering option. There is also a basic preparation kitchen. Bar service can be arranged through the venue, with a certified bartender, and security is required for events serving alcohol. Guests can view the facility by appointment and contact the team to discuss dates, packages and event requirements.
