Ardross Castle

Ardross Castle is an exclusive-use venue in the Scottish Highlands, set among formal gardens and more than 100 acres of parkland beside the River Alness. The 19th-century castle is available to private and corporate clients for weddings and other events. It is a private hire venue, not a hotel, and individual rooms are not booked separately.

For weddings, couples can shape the day around their own plans rather than choose from set packages. Ceremonies may be held indoors in the Great Hall or outside in the grounds, subject to the weather. The Great Hall can host a wedding breakfast and evening celebration for up to 130 guests. The venue provides tables and chairs for the ceremony and meal, with parking on site. Exclusive wedding hire includes accommodation for up to 41 guests for two nights, subject to the terms listed by the venue.

The castle is hired as a venue only, so organisers need to arrange their own caterer, bar and associated facilities, including cooking equipment, tableware and glassware. This gives planners scope to select suppliers and shape the event to suit their requirements. Nearby accommodation is available in the local area and Inverness.

Beyond weddings, the castle and estate are offered for corporate and private events. Its historic interiors, gardens, river setting and wide Highland landscape also make the property available for film, television and high-end photography productions. Located north of Inverness, Ardross Castle offers event planners a distinctive historic setting with both indoor spaces and extensive grounds. The venue's contact page currently states that it has no availability for 2026 or 2027.
