Set on a 10-acre property on Virginia's Eastern Shore, Maplewood Gardens offers an outdoor setting for weddings, private celebrations, reunions and fundraisers. The grounds centre on an 1890 Victorian homestead, with English-style gardens, mature trees, ponds and arbors providing distinct backdrops for ceremonies, photographs and guest mingling.

Organisers can choose from several spaces, using one area on its own or combining locations to suit the day. The Ceremony Garden, Boxwood Garden and Pecan Garden each have an arbor, with seating capacities that vary by space. Poolside offers an informal outdoor setting and access to a pool house with a kitchenette and living area. For receptions or other gatherings, the rustic barn provides approximately 3,000 square feet of floor space, lighting and electricity, with room to position a tent beside it. The grounds can also accommodate a large tent arranged through a third-party rental provider.

The venue welcomes events of up to 300 people and has accessible facilities and on-site parking. It is a flexible option for couples seeking a garden ceremony and reception, as well as organisers planning an open-air celebration in a country setting.
