Geestland-Eventgelände in Kropp is a spacious outdoor venue for event organisers looking for room for larger-scale events or events held in the open air. The flat, grassy area covers around 2.5 to 2.7 hectares and is suitable for markets, gatherings, concerts, festivals, sporting and cultural events, as well as private celebrations. Businesses, associations and fairground operators can also enquire about using the site for their own events.
Electricity connections, water and wastewater facilities are available for event planning. There is a permanent toilet block and showers, and mobile toilet or shower trailers can be brought in to supplement the facilities if needed. The open grassy area gives organisers flexibility for different layouts and uses. There is parking nearby, and Geestlandbad is right next to the site and within walking distance.
The location on the outskirts of Kropp makes it convenient to reach from various parts of Schleswig-Holstein: the site is connected to the B77 and is only a few minutes from the A7 motorway. A range of events are held on the site regularly, including markets, vehicle gatherings, line dancing events and celebrations. Anyone planning their own event can enquire about using the site with the relevant contact at the local authority. They can also discuss the desired dates, the planned layout and the requirements for the available infrastructure.
