Ground Floor, Freeport

Ground Floor, Freeport is a small, flexible venue in the heart of Freeport, Maine, available to hire for private and business gatherings. Its open, hardwood-floored space can be arranged to suit different occasions, from a relaxed celebration or dinner to a seated presentation, workshop or conference. The venue can host up to 50 people, making it a practical option for organisers looking for an intimate setting rather than a large function hall.

The room can be left open for guests to mingle, arranged with seating, or set up for dining. Tables and chairs are available, alongside screens and a sound system, so organisers can plan talks, presentations and other activities in the same space. A designated food service area supports events with outside catering. Food is not provided by the venue, but organisers may bring in a caterer, and guests may bring their own alcohol.

Ground Floor also accommodates parties, retreats and private stage productions. Its welcoming, home-like character gives gatherings a more personal feel, while temperature control allows the space to be used throughout the year. Free parking is available nearby. The venue is also used for concerts and has recording facilities, adding to its creative atmosphere, but organisers can enquire about hiring the space for their own event. Whether planning a small company gathering, a workshop or a family celebration, event planners can arrange the room around the format and needs of their guests.
