The Depot on Main

The Depot on Main is a restored 19th-century freight depot in downtown Washington Court House, Ohio, available to hire for weddings, social celebrations and business events. Its historic character comes through in the original hardwood floors, brickwork and exposed rafters, while natural light and flexible lighting help organisers shape the room to suit their occasion.

The main indoor space accommodates up to 100 guests for a seated event. Tables and chairs are included with the venue hire, and the building also has a catering kitchen, accessible entrance and restrooms. A wireless speaker system serves the indoor area and outdoor deck. For business gatherings, organisers can use a wireless projector screen, although they will need to supply the projector. The venue welcomes presentations, corporate events, fundraisers and team gatherings, as well as private parties, showers and anniversaries.

Outside, a generous deck and adjoining green space provide an additional setting for guests to gather and relax. Wedding bookings have a dedicated package, with space for up to 70 guests to allow room for dining, dancing and other event arrangements. Rachel's House Catering is the preferred catering provider, and outside food is also permitted subject to a kitchenette fee. Linens and chafers can be hired, and organisers may arrange DJs or live music.

The venue is run by the family who restored the depot, so event organisers can discuss bookings and practical details directly with the team. Its mix of historic architecture, indoor function space and outdoor gathering area makes it suitable for planners seeking a distinctive local setting for a celebration or business occasion.
