The Actor's Playground

The Actor's Playground provides fairytale character entertainment for private celebrations, community events and company gatherings in the Berlin, Ohio area. Organisers can book performers for birthday parties, tea parties, fundraisers, festivals and other occasions, with characters chosen to suit the event and its guests.

For a private party, the team can bring one or more favourite characters for an appearance lasting around one to two hours. Activities can include storytelling, performances, princess lessons, crafts, cookie decorating, colouring and other themed entertainment. The format can be adapted to fit the age group, occasion and plans for the celebration.

For company events and public gatherings, organisers can request small or larger character teams. A simple meet-and-greet can be arranged, or the business can work with the organiser to develop an appearance around the event. Its character roster includes princesses, princes and familiar fairytale friends, with new characters and packages added over time. The team also offers a royal carriage prop for event hire and photographs.

The service is intended for organisers who want performers to engage guests in person, rather than for people seeking a venue. Packages are individually arranged, so the number of characters, activities and event format can be discussed when requesting a quote. This makes the offering suitable for children’s birthdays as well as festivals, company celebrations and community programmes looking for a storybook theme.
