Armory Event Center

Armory Event Center is a historic venue in Moorhead, Minnesota, available for weddings, receptions, corporate events, meetings, fundraisers, concerts and other gatherings. Built in 1915 and later renovated, the former armory combines its industrial character and heritage details with facilities for contemporary events.

The venue has two main event spaces. The first-floor hall can accommodate up to 400 guests for a banquet, or up to 700 for a concert or business event. The lower-level social hall offers room for up to 250 banquet guests and can also be used for a drinks reception or other part of a programme. Organisers booking the main venue have use of the whole building for the day, allowing different activities to take place across the floors.

Wedding bookings can include ceremony space as well as room for the reception and dancing. The venue provides dressing suites, tables, chairs, linens, wireless microphones, a projector and screen, televisions, Wi-Fi and guest parking. Flexible layouts allow organisers to shape the space around their event, and Armory staff are available to assist with planning. An on-site catering kitchen and access to catering and bar services help organisers plan food and drinks for guests.

The venue also offers the nearby Armory Annex as additional event space. Its rooms can be booked individually or together for smaller gatherings, meetings, rehearsal dinners, wedding preparations, showers and parties. With its historic setting, substantial capacity and adaptable spaces, Armory Event Center can host both formal celebrations and business events in one Moorhead location.
